This studio on Buitenkant Street is built for working well in the middle of the city: 50+ Mbps Wi-Fi, a laptop-friendly workspace, a dedicated, secure parking bay, and a room guests have found quiet inside.
Bed, lounge and kitchen share one bright open-plan room of about 45 square metres on the 5th floor, reached by lift. The queen bed has bedside lighting and a built-in wardrobe, the lounge has a sofa and a wall-mounted TV, and the separate bathroom has a walk-in shower. Room-darkening shades help with sleep, and the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking.
The Square has secure building entry, a gym and a lift. A lockbox means you can check in on your own schedule from 15:00, and long stays are welcome.
Visitors are welcome on any stay, including a partner during a longer one: just tell us ahead of time how many people are coming, as the building limits numbers. Everyone staying overnight must be on the booking, up to 2 guests in total.
Parliament is about 250 m away and the District Six Museum about 80 m (estimate). In summer the East City is a food lover’s base: Harrington Street is a 3-minute walk and the Castle of Good Hope a 7-minute one (estimates), and Fyn, voted one of the world’s 100 best restaurants, is in the same precinct.
