Brighton Court is on the Camps Bay beachfront, and this two-bedroom apartment puts the beach and the tidal pool steps from the door. Supermarkets and pharmacies are about 5 minutes on foot, and Victoria Road’s restaurants and sundowner bars line the same strip.
Both bedrooms have king beds. The main bedroom looks out to sea and has an en-suite with a shower, basin and toilet, and the second bathroom has the same. The kitchen has a fridge, stove, oven, microwave, kettle and coffee maker, and a washing machine and tumble dryer take care of sandy beach clothes.
Air conditioning and heating, uncapped Wi-Fi and a smart TV box giving access to DStv, Netflix and YouTube cover the rest. Beach essentials are provided, and for young children there is a cot on request, plus children’s books and dinnerware.
The apartment is on the 2nd floor, reached by one flight of stairs, with no lift. The complex has access-controlled entry, security on site from 19:00 to 07:00, exterior cameras and a parking bay for the apartment. Self check-in uses a lockbox.
On windy summer days Clifton, a short drive away, is usually calmer. Town is roughly 15 minutes by car, and MyCiTi buses serve Camps Bay.
Up to 3 guests can stay, and the main bedroom is the one to wake up in, with the sea right outside.
