Five bedrooms with an en suite apiece, and a view down to Llandudno Beach: this villa at the top of the village is set up for big family groups and friends travelling together. The beds are a super king in the main bedroom, a king in the second, and queens in the third, fourth and fifth.
Four bedrooms are in the main house. The fifth is in a separate cottage on the lowest level, down stairs from the house, and there is also a guest bathroom.
A fireplace and a 75-inch smart TV with DStv and Netflix anchor the lounge and dining area, which share one open-plan space, and for rainy days there is a slate pool table and a table-tennis table. The kitchen has an oven and stove, two fridges for a big group’s shopping and a bean-to-cup coffee machine. We can also help arrange a private chef.
Outside is a large garden and lawn, a braai (barbecue) area with patio, and the wood-fired hot tub. Guests single out sundowners in the hot tub as a highlight; it is heated by a fire and needs several hours.
A housekeeper comes in Monday to Saturday and the caretaker lives on the property. Bedrooms and living rooms have air conditioning, the Wi-Fi is 500 Mbps, and there is backup power for outages. Up to 5 cars fit in the garage and driveway, behind an automated gate. Security: armed response around the clock, electric fencing, an alarm and exterior cameras facing the perimeter of the property. The villa has stairs throughout, the three-bedroom apartment on the same plot takes separate bookings, and the villa is on a busy main road.
With no shops or restaurants in the village, groceries come with you. The beach below is known for surf and sunsets and is shielded from the summer south-easter, which makes it one of the calmer spots on this coast on a windy day.
